Daniel W. Dowe, Founder – Fordham Law School (Juris Doctorate 1990); Manhattan College (B.S. Accounting, 1984).   Dan brings substantial business operating experience to his legal analysis and representation of clients.  Having operated two public companies, he has counseled numerous clients with whom he shares long-standing business relationships and brings a very practical approach to addressing legal matters.  Before entering corporate management, Dan founded Dowe & Dowe in 1993, a Wall Street-based law firm, where he practiced primarily corporate and securities law.  Before practicing law, he was employed by Alliance Capital Management Company, Salomon Brothers (now Salomon Smith Barney, a division of Citigroup, Inc.) and J.P. Morgan Bank. He has been an active board member for public and private companies and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Artisanal Premium Cheese and served for six years as a director and as Chair of The Specialty Food Association.  

Janet L. Dowe – Fordham Law School (Juris Doctorate 1990); Marymount College (BS Finance, 1984).  As co-founder of the firm and general partner, Janet maintains close client contact and is directly involved in all aspects of client Projects, including consultation, document drafting, negotiations, due diligence and closings.  Her experience with commercial litigation brings litigation-avoidance skills to document drafting and strategic legal planning. Janet's legal career began at Burlingham, Underwood & Lord, in litigation, arbitration and ship finance. She joined Dowe & Dowe in 1995 and since then has been both outside and in-house counsel to several corporate clients. 

Firm Associates – The firm has numerous legal professionals with whom it may consult to complete specific aspects of a Project, but assumes full responsibility for all work performed for clients.
